Benson is the largest rare earth magnet manufacturing facility in the Western World, and a cornerstone of American reindustrialization. The $1 billion facility will produce at a scale that fundamentally changes the Western supply chain landscape: mitigating dependence on Foreign Entities of Concern, securing critical materials for defense and industry, and anchoring a domestic rare earth magnet supply chain for America and its allies.

Research Triangle Park (RTP): Innovation Hub
Nexus of advanced magnetics development and initial commercial production
Vulcan’s first commercial manufacturing plant and hub for research and development. Commissioned in March 2025, on time and on budget, RTP serves as Vulcan’s center for initial commercial manufacturing, materials science research, and process development. Every part of the process—and every piece of equipment—is scalable, designed to enable rapid expansion to industrial production. Since 2024, out of RTP, Vulcan has worked with customers across robotics, AI infrastructure, semiconductor fabrication, drones, and automobiles—as well as every branch of the U.S. military.
